The NYC Facade Inspection Safety Program (FISP), formerly known as Local Law 11, requires owners of buildings six stories or higher to have their buildings inspected by a New York State licensed architect or engineer and repaired it, if needed, every five years.
The specialist must file a special report of critical examination on the condition of the building’s facade and then City’s Department of Buildings certified it as safe. An owner who fails to file a critical examination report will face a big penalty. Serious deficiencies had to be corrected and the building given a second inspection.
SkyWay Lifts helps owners of “Local Law 11” — subjected buildings keep their facades in good and perfect conditions. With the use of our aerial boom lifts you can fix the obvious facade’s shortcomings before the first building inspection or fix the newly discovered deficiencies before second FISP inspection.
